[5,800 mt Scrap Lithium Battery Second-Life Application and Recycling Project Announced] Recently, Fujian Environmental Protection issued the first environmental impact assessment public notice for the "Quanzhou Green Power Technology Co., Ltd. Scrap Lithium Battery Second-Life Application and Recycling Project." The advancement of this project holds significant importance for the development of scrap lithium battery recycling in Quanzhou and nationwide. Located in Quangang District, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, the project primarily focuses on scrap lithium battery recycling, with a designed annual processing capacity of 5,800 mt.

 

[Scrap LFP Battery Material Deep Processing and Comprehensive Utilization Project Announced] Recently, the Tianjin Jinghai District Administrative Approval Bureau officially released the acceptance notice for the R&D and trial environmental impact report of the "Tianjin BatteryRe Technology Co., Ltd. Scrap LFP Battery Material Deep Processing and Comprehensive Utilization Project," marking the substantive progress of this green innovation project with a total investment of 4 million yuan.

 

[20,000 mt Scrap Lithium Battery Second-Life and Disassembly Recycling Project Launched] Recently, the Chongqing Tongnan High-Tech Zone Management Committee issued the pre-approval public notice for the "Chenzhianqi (Chongqing) Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. Annual Processing of 20,000 mt Scrap Lithium Battery Second-Life and Disassembly Recycling Project" (original project name: Capacity Construction Project (Phase I)). The advancement of this project is significant for the development of scrap lithium battery recycling locally and nationwide. The project is planned in three phases: Phase I involves second-life application of 0.1 GWh scrap lithium batteries and recycling of 20,000 mt/year scrap LFP batteries (actual recycling includes 10,000 mt/year scrap LFP batteries and 6,000 mt/year scrap LFP positive pole pieces. The pole pieces are components of lithium batteries, with 6,000 mt/year generating black mass equivalent to that from 10,000 mt/year scrap LFP batteries. The total is converted to 20,000 mt/year scrap LFP batteries); Phase II recycles 10,000 mt/year scrap lithium batteries; Phase III involves second-life application of 2 GWh scrap lithium batteries and recycling of 40,000 mt/year scrap lithium batteries.

 

 

[Fuding City New Energy Battery Material Recycling Project Launched] Recently, the Fuding Industrial Park Management Committee of Fujian Province officially released the first environmental impact assessment public notice for the "Fujian Saibang New Material Technology Co., Ltd. New Energy Battery Material Recycling Project." This project marks an important step for Saibang New Material in advancing the recycling of new energy battery materials. For raw materials, the project primarily uses ternary black mass, MHP (nickel-cobalt-manganese hydroxide), crude nickel sulphate, and crude lithium carbonate. Through advanced hydrometallurgical leaching and extraction processes, these raw materials will be converted into new energy battery materials such as Ni-Co-Mn sulphate, nickel hydroxide, Mn3O4, Co3O4, electrodeposited nickel, and lithium carbonate.

 

[Binzhou City's 160,000 mt Power Battery Second-Life Recycling Project Launched] Recently, the Administrative Approval Service Bureau of Huimin County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province officially issued the post-approval announcement of the construction land planning permit for the "CRCHI Group's 160,000 mt/year Power Battery Second-Life Recycling Project," marking the official entry of this strategically significant green project into the construction preparation phase and injecting new vitality into the power battery recycling industry. Upon completion, the project will have an annual processing capacity of 160,000 mt of power batteries for second-life recycling.

 

[10,000 mt Scrap Lithium Battery Comprehensive Utilization Project Announced] Recently, the Zhengzhou Ecological Environment Bureau of Henan Province released a public notice on the acceptance of the environmental impact assessment documents for the "Henan Yincheng Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. Scrap Lithium Battery Comprehensive Utilization Project." The advancement of this project holds significant importance for the development of the scrap lithium battery recycling industry in Henan Province and nationwide. It is reported that the project plans to invest 25 million yuan, located in the Minying Science and Technology Innovation Park in Kangdian Town, Gongyi City, and will construct one scrap lithium battery dismantling and second-life application production line, two scrap battery crushing and sorting production lines, with an annual comprehensive utilization capacity of 10,000 mt of lithium batteries.

 

[50,000 mt Lithium Power Battery Resource Recycling Comprehensive Utilization Project Nears Operation] Recently, the People's Government of Gucheng County, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, published a joint acceptance announcement for the annual processing of 50,000 mt lithium power battery resource recycling comprehensive utilization project (leaching workshop, extraction workshop, storage tank area, discharge room, MVR workshop). The advancement of this project is of great significance for the development of the lithium power battery recycling industry in Xiangyang City and nationwide.

 

[Fluoride Salt Project Environmental Assessment Public Notice] On July 11, the environmental impact assessment for the fluoride-containing wastewater resource utilization project to produce fluoride salts in Baiyun Ebo Mining Area was publicly announced. The construction content includes Phase I: an 8,000 mt/year multifunctional soluble fluoride salt unit (magnesium, zinc, potassium comprehensive production unit) and auxiliary facilities (firefighting, emergency, etc.), with an investment of 100 million yuan and a construction period from July 2025 to December 2025; Phase II: a 20,000 mt/year aluminum fluoride unit with a by-product of 10,000 mt white carbon black, and a 20,000 mt/year sodium fluorosilicate unit, with a construction period from July 2025 to December 2026 and an investment of 250 million yuan; Phase III: a 20,000 mt/year aluminum fluoride unit with a by-product of 10,000 mt white carbon black.
